Allows operations at pressures higher than the pressure of the pressure test of the fittings. Result: cost reduction due to the absence of the need to use fracturing fountain valves (patent for utility model RU 183 273 U1).
Geophysical cable sealing device
The geophysical cable sealing device is designed to ensure lowering and lifting of downhole instruments on the cable or wire without depressurizing the wellhead. The device is installed on the buffer gate valve of fountain valves of operating wells.
The device allows geophysical surveys with overpressure at the wellhead.
The presence of 2 hydraulic chambers makes it possible to control the device from a distance, which makes it possible to install the sealer on long lubricators. The first hydraulic chamber is responsible for sealing the cable at the wellhead boundary, the second is responsible for sealing the cable at low pressures – protection against discharge from the mud chamber.
